IE4 Low Voltage 3-Phase AC Induction Motor
The IE4 ultra-high efficiency low voltage three-phase asynchronous motor designed and produced by our company absorbs advanced domestic and foreign technologies and combines the advantages of similar products. It has the characteristics of high efficiency and energy saving, stable operation, low vibration, and good starting performance. The motor adopts F-class insulation, and the temperature rise of the whole series is assessed according to B-class. The junction box, base, and end cover are beautiful and generous in shape and are conducive to noise reduction and ventilation, which greatly improves safety and reliability.
The frame size of IE4 series three-phase asynchronous motors ranges from 80 to 355 (mm). The main terminal box is a sealed structure with the same protection level as the motor. It is generally installed on the top of the motor frame. Depending on the specific purpose, the wires can also be connected to the left and right sides. There is a separate grounding terminal in the terminal box to meet the different wire requirements of users.
IE4 ultra-high efficiency three-phase asynchronous motors are widely used in machinery without special requirements, such as food machinery, agricultural machinery, air compressors, ventilators, industrial water pumps, cutting machine tools, transportation machinery and other general equipment. They are used as prime movers in various industrial and mining enterprises such as mines, petrochemical industries, power plants, etc. to drive blowers, coal mills, rolling mills, winches, crushers, belt conveyors and other mechanical equipment with large rotational inertia.

Basic conditions for normal operation ofIE4 Low Voltage 3-Phase AC Induction Motor:
- Altitude not exceeding 1000m
- The maximum ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40°C; the minimum ambient air temperature shall be -15°C for motors with rolling bearings and 5°C for motors with sliding bearings;
- The power frequency is 50Hz±l%
- The operating voltage variation range is not greater than the rated voltage ±5%
- The motor is rated for continuous duty S1

CHAPTER ONE
What is IE4 Motor energy efficiency level?
At present, more than ten countries and regions in the world have issued motor energy efficiency standards.
The motor energy efficiency standards are constantly improving, and the trend of motor standardization is obvious.
The Electrical Engineering Committee IEC has unified the global motor energy efficiency standards into four levels: IE1, IE2, IE3, and IE4, with IE1 as standard efficiency, IE2 as high efficiency, and IE3 as ultra-high efficiency, and published their standard values.
In 2014, the IEC organization published IEC 60034-30-1, expanding the motor power range to include motors from 0.12KW to 1000KW, and officially published the IE4 energy efficiency standard value.
The increase in energy efficiency classes is mainly achieved with asynchronous technology by using more active material.
With each increase in efficiency, the length and, if necessary, the size of the motor frame changes.
To avoid jumps in motor size, there are various optimization options, such as increasing the slot filling by adjusting the winding, using higher-quality electrical layers and, if necessary, using copper as the cage rotor material.
