IE3 Low Voltage 3-Phase AC Induction Motor

The IE3 motor is a small low-voltage (380V~1140V) three-phase asynchronous motor. It is one of the high-efficiency and energy-saving low-voltage motors designed and developed by LUPMOTORS. The stator of this motor adopts an external pressure-mounted structure, and the winding rotor adopts F-class insulation material and is treated with solvent-free paint. It has higher insulation and waterproof performance and can effectively extend the service life of the motor. The junction box, base, and end cover are beautiful and generous, and are conducive to noise reduction and ventilation. It has the characteristics of high efficiency and energy saving, environmental protection and safety, reliable operation, and easy installation and maintenance.

IE3 low voltage three-phase asynchronous motor is suitable for various applications, such as driving various general machinery such as compressors, ventilators, industrial water pumps, cutting machine tools, transportation machinery and other general equipment. It is used as a prime mover in various industrial and mining enterprises such as mines, machinery, petrochemical industry, power plants, etc. to drive large moment of inertia blowers, coal mills, rolling mills, winches, crushers, belt conveyors and other mechanical equipment.

What is the differences between IE1,IE2 & IE3 motors?

(1) High efficiency, IE2 is 3% higher than IE1 on average, and IE3 is about 5% higher than IE1 on average.
(2) More high-quality materials are required. The cost of IE2 motors is 25%~30% higher than that of IE1 motors, and the cost of IE3 motors is about 40%~60% higher than that of IE1 motors.
(3) Due to the lower operating temperature, the motor life is longer, which can reduce maintenance costs.
(4) The starting current is larger under typical design conditions.
(5) The rotor inertia is larger.
(6) The speed is higher and the slip rate is smaller under rated load.

In the industrial field, the power consumption of motors accounts for about 75% of industrial electricity consumption.

Therefore, improving the energy efficiency standards of industrial motors has become one of the key measures for energy conservation and emission reduction in various countries.

IE3 energy-efficient motors can improve energy efficiency by 4% compared to ordinary motors.

Although 4% does not seem to be much, if we take a 7.5kW motor as an example, its annual power consumption is about 20,000 degrees.

After the motor improves its energy efficiency by 4%, it can save 800 degrees of electricity a year.

Why is the YE3 three-phase motor so popular?

1. More power saving: The average efficiency of the IE3 series is 91.5%, which is nearly 4.5% higher than the average efficiency of 87% of current motors, and the cost can be recovered in 1-2 years.

For example, the IE3-160L-4-15kW motor consumes 16.3 kWh per hour, and the ordinary Y160L-4-15kW motor consumes 16.8 kWh per hour. The IE3 motor saves 0.5 kWh per hour.

Calculated based on 5,000 hours of operation per year, it saves 2,500 kWh of electricity per year, and the saved electricity cost can recover the motor cost in one and a half years.

2. More reliable: This product has the characteristics of low temperature rise, strong overload capacity, low vibration and low noise; the motor stator adopts F-class insulation, but the temperature rise is assessed at 80K, and the motor has a large temperature rise margin.

3. More convenient: Motors with a center height of 160 and above are equipped with a non-stop oil injection and drainage device, and space is reserved for installing thermistors and moisture-proof heating belts, which is convenient for users to choose.
